Sarah Palin makes more sense than Democrats

This was a piece I found in the Evansville Courier Press.
I didn't write it but I agree with every word Mr. James wrote.

Sarah Palin makes more sense than Democrats

To the editor:

Victor Stone's absurd response to Pat Singer's recent letter is ample evidence of his own biased ignorance.
Frankly, it's amusing and asinine for any Democrat to label their party's partisan, incomprehensible and costly health care plan as "much more interesting" than Sarah Palin's runaway best-seller.
Poll after poll shows that America remains a center-right nation, with far more conservatives than liberals.
Polling also reveals that most Americans believe national health care reform is necessary, but nearly 6 in 10 don't support the Democrats' complex health reform packages.
And despite what Stone believes, the conservative values and actions touted by Sarah Palin are far more representative than those being espoused by allegedly "intelligent" politicians like President Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
I, for one, much prefer a "proud and ignorant" Sarah Palin to the current crop of arrogant, out-of-touch, and fiscally irresponsible Democrats now populating Washington, D.C.
Politicians should focus on cutting their unprecedented spending instead of borrowing or taxing and spending trillions more.
This would improve our economy and put millions of Americans back to work much faster than the fiscally reckless spending path being pursued.
But our political leaders won't listen. That's why for me and millions of other concerned voters, the 2010 midterm elections can't come soon enough.

Critics can't find fault in Beck, now attack his gold purchasing

On 12/11/09 The L.A. Times gleefully uncovered a scandal involving Glenn Beck.
The Scandal. Glenn buys gold. Yep that's it. Glenn buys gold. But what's worse is that he encourages others to do the same.
Apparently, according to the L.A. Times, this revelation totally wipes out the credibility of Glenn Beck. Unfortunately for the L.A. Times Glenn Beck came out on his radio show and showed no embarrassment to the fact. And why should he? Mr. Beck has always been up front about his belief in gold and has been up front about his belief in making money using the free market, so I'm still trying to get my head around the L.A. Times' big story about it. I'm thinking that they are so in the dark about....well anything that they just discovered he buys gold and encorages other to do the same. After all they were clueless about ACORN and the massaged Global Warming documents. Maybe some of us informed readers should send them emails everyday updating them on what is happening in the world. After all it is our job to do the work of the media when they seem incapable of doing it themselves.
If there is a silver lining for the L.A. Times maybe it's the fact that if they keep mentioning Glenn Beck or Sarah Palin or any conservative then their readership just might go up. But until they get on board on covering the real concerns in our country they will be nothing more than a paper full of comics. Which is fine with me I love reading the comics.

Sarah Palin should be endorsing more conservative candidates

Sarah Palin endorsed conservative Doug Hoffman in the upstate New York Congressional seat. In doing this she drew the ire of the GOP, but brought a virtual unknown in Doug Hoffman to the fore front. Because of her endorsement Mr. Hoffman caused the faux, Republican Dede Scozzafava to bail from the race, and to show her true colors by endorsing the Democratic candidate. On top of this Mr. Hoffman almost pulled off a virtual upset.
So why isn't Mrs. Palin endorsing more conservative candidates? I guess only she can answer that question. What I do know is that Mrs. Palin has a huge conservative base. If you check her Facebook page she has over 1 million followers. That in itself is incredible. Factor in voters over 65 that either don't have computers or use network sites such as Facebook, and her fan base grows even larger. With such a fan base I would venture to say that any candidate she endorses would see their poll numbers rise significantly.
Now I understand that the former Alaskan Gov. is busy, but I think it would serve her well (and the conservative candidates) if she would endorse these candidates while visiting their city during her book signings. This would keep her in the political arena, and inspire other conservatives to run for office.
I hope she considers doing it in the future.

Just a thought.

Palin-Beck: The perfect ticket for 2012

Both Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck have been receiving much criticism over the last year. But let's face it our founding fathers drew alot of criticism also when they decided to free the citizens from tyranny and give them freedom. Many people here in America called them traitors and radicals and war mongers, but despite all this they did what was right. They believed in "by the people for the people" because they were the people. We are seeing the same thing today with Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck.
They say what they mean and mean what they say.
Let's take Sarah Palin first: You hear the critics say she doesn't have any experience or that she isn't smart enough, that she has too many issues in her personal life that will distract her. they continue to hammer her from both sides when she isn't really even a politician anymore.
Why do you think that is?
Well first of all I don't think anyone believes that Sarah Palin won't be running for President in 2012. Though she doesn't come out and say it directly, you know that is her ultimate goal. That's why the media, the Democrats, the left and the Republicans hammer her and her image so hard. They are all afraid that the average American will embrace her and that in 2012 Capitol Hill will be given back to the common people as it was originally designed by our founders. They know that if this happens all of their privileges and pork will end, and they will have to start answering for their actions. Here's some hard truth for those of you trying to stop the American people from embracing her. We already have.
Plain and simple Sarah Palin will restore government back to it's roots.

Now Glenn Beck: Well any of you who have watched Glenn Beck know that he is a straight shooter. He doesn't mince words and he speaks from his heart. He's intelligent and humorous. But most of all he cares about this country. He is an average American just like you and me. He believes in striving to be the best you can and he believes everyone has the right to earn as much as they can in life as long as you earn it yourself and honestly. He stands by those who have been wronged, no matter the consequences and he holds accountable those have done wrong. He believes in redemption, but he believes redemption is earned not owed. He believes in love whether it be kind or tough and he believes in making the world better for our children.

So I ask you.
Who better to lead this great nation than Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck? Two common people who have risen to the top, but have not forgotten their root. Who better I ask you?
Who?
